A Town Worth Bragging About

A small town that punches way above its weight.

Perched on a cliff above the Rockaway River, Boonton has quietly become one of North Jersey's coolest small towns — and the people who live here have known it all along.

Once an industrial powerhouse built on iron and the Morris Canal, Boonton has reinvented itself around a walkable, one-of-a-kind Main Street, a genuine natural wonder in Grace Lord Park, and traditions that pull the whole town together — from the Labor Day carnival to the holiday parade. This is a place where the barista knows your order, your kids grow up at the same events you did, and a waterfall is part of your afternoon walk.
